Simulation based comparison of routing protocols in wireless multihop adhoc networks

Routing protocols are responsible for providing reliable communication between the source and destination nodes. The performance of these in ad hoc network family is influenced by several factors such as mobility model, traffic load, transmission range, number mobile nodes which represents a great issue. Several simulation studies have explored routing protocol with parameters, but few relate to various concerning Quality Service (QoS) metrics. This paper presents simulation-based comparison proactive, reactive, multipath networks (MANETs). Specifically, AODV, DSDV, AOMDV evaluated analyzed presence varying nodes, pause time, connection numbers. Moreover, QoS metrics normalized packet, packet delivery ratio, drop, end-to-end delay, throughput measured conduct three protocols. Simulation results indicate that AODV outperforms DSDV most better than terms delay. provides lower results. Network topology parameters slight impact on Performance.
